SHIPPING & DELIVERY INFORMATION
Here at AMPERSAND INTERIORS + GARDEN, we’ve worked to determine the best, most efficient shipping methods based on the merchandise you have selected. We’ve also chosen the best professional carriers to ensure that you receive your order in excellent condition and in a timely manner. DOMESTIC SHIPPING INFORMATION
Our shipping methods vary, depending on the weight and size of the item(s) that you have selected. For example, a large item, such as a sofa, cannot ship in the same manner as a smaller item, such as a pillow. The sofa will ship via a trusted freight carrier and the pillow will ship via UPS. We determine shipping methods on a case-by-case basis and will let you know the best method at the time of your order. Please note that all of the shipping options below apply to orders sent within the 48 contiguous United States.
SMALL ITEM SHIPPING OPTIONS
UPS STANDARD DELIVERY— Your order should arrive within 3-5 business days. We currently charge a FLAT RATE per order/item.
UPS EXPRESS DELIVERY— Your order should arrive within 2 business days. Price dependent on weight and size of item(s).
IN-STORE PICKUP— In the Montclair area? Stop by and pick up your order when it’s convenient for you. Available anytime during store hours. The shop is open Monday through Saturday, 10am until 5pm (until 6pm on Thursday).
FURNITURE/LARGE ITEM SHIPPING OPTIONS
At this time, shipping of furniture and other large items will be facilitated on a by order/project basis to insure the best and most efficient delivery. A member of our team will contact you to schedule delivery.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION
We do not ship internationally at this time.
We know you’ll love your purchase from AMPERSAND INTERIORS + GARDEN, but we also understand that there may be a reason to return or exchange an item. Simply follow the instructions that match the type of item you are returning and please contact us at SHOP@AMPERSAND-INTERIOS.com if you have any questions.
NON-FURNITURE MERCHANDISE RETURN
Any non-furniture stock items purchased on our website can be returned for merchandise credit or exchange, as long as we receive the merchandise no later than 30 days after the order was received. Custom merchandise is FINAL SALE. Shipping charges are non-refundable and will be deducted from your total. To process a return please email us at SHOP@AMPERSAND-INTERIORS.com with details of your reason for return. Upon authorization, you will need to do the following:
Pack the item(s) in the original packaging or in a way to ensure safe transportation.
Include a copy of your invoice.

We will inspect the returned item(s) and issue a SHOP CREDIT or ship your replacement. You will receive a confirmation email once we have processed your return. Please be sure that you ship the item so that we receive it within the 30-day return window and can process on a timely basis.
IN-STOCK FURNITURE ITEMS
Due to the nature of in-stock furniture, we must apply a restocking fee of 25% if it is deemed necessary to return or replace. Please email us at SHOP@AMPERSAND-INTERIORS.com with details of the your reason for return so that we might determine the best option.
CUSTOM ORDER FURNITURE RETURNS
Unlike most companies, we do accept returns for custom ordered furniture. However, in addition to non-refundable round trip shipping charges, a 25% restocking fee will also be deducted from your refund. Please follow the In-Stock Merchandise Return Procedure to make your returns.
SALE MERCHANDISE RETURNS
Any merchandise that has been given a sale discount or allowance is FINAL SALE.
We take care to inspect every piece of merchandise before it leaves our store or warehouse. In the unlikely event that your merchandise is damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible by emailing SHOP@AMPERSAND-INTERIORS.com. We will contact you to exchange or replace any damaged items. Please be sure that you do not sign any delivery paperwork before inspecting your merchandise.
